Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 End of Support

Microsoft have announced the end of support for both Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. From 14th January 2020 there will be no further updates issued for these two versions of operating systems. They are two of the most successful version of Windows Microsoft launched. They were widely used and remain in use by many organisations still.

With end of support users become at risk to any vulnerabilities that are identified by malware producers. Without the updates to protect your systems backdoor malware and ransomeware attacks are more likely.
